Fixed deposits have gained popularity as a safe instrument to keep your money and get some return on it. NBFCs and some companies which are not even operating in the finance domain have ventured fixed deposit schemes and are trying to capitalize on the investor's comfort level with fixed deposits. These companies are launching FD schemes to basically support their capital requirement like in the case of Tana Motors fixed deposit was aimed to facilitate and control Nano's production cost.
