Daily minimum balance Rs.1000/=
Account can be opened in the name of any individual.
Minimum monthly instalment of Rs.100/= at least for a period 12 Months. Any amount above Rs.100/= & in multiples of Rs.100/= for a period up to 10 years allowed
Available for residents as well as non-residents.
Nomination facility is available.
No Tax Deduction at Source on interest earned.(Not applicable in NRO accounts)
