Banks are unlikely to provide loans against property on power of attorney.

As she is already paying the EMI and the loan has been pledged with her property, so, there won't be any legal issues as long as she keep on paying the EMI in time. But if she defaults on payment, the bank has the right to auction the property and get their dues paid.
