I agree with the view written by common voice _ mumbai. I have also taken a home loan in 2005 with a floating interest rate of 7.25% and which they have increase to 10.75 % till date. Nobody at the bank giviing me the clarity about shifting it to Base rate, as per RBI's new directive. Neither they are reducing the rate . IDBI is only giving less HOME loan rate to new custmers , but once they get trapped , there is no rescue. PL.LOOK OTHER PSU BANK BEFORE GOING FOR HOME LOAN WITH IDBI BANK.
