Please do not go for SBI home loan if you target for registration in less than 4 months. I bet you wont get loan within minimum 4 months. I myself applied in November and now in Janaury its still on Sanctioning officer’s table according to my relationship manager. I really dont know when I will be blessed with a home loan. Meanwhile my seller was asking daily about the status and its very embrassing to answer him. He even said he will increase rate if I delay. But somehow I could able to convince him. Finally I decided to go for manappuram gold loan and give him some money and lock the property.. So, just imagine my situation.. I really dont know where delay is happening. Three people came for different kinds of inspections. Really crazy people. And the process is very very slow and long... I guess it will be delayed by a week or two than the other private banks.
