HCBL Co-operative Bank adopts Village In Uttar Pradesh As Part Of Financial Inclusion

It is a government driven program which aims towards offering banking services to far-flung areas of the nation. As stated by Mr. Pawan Kapoor, CEO, HCBL Bank, “HCBL Bank has adopted Bharwara village, which is an initiative taken in implementing the policies pertaining to financial inclusion for residents of this region as they have been deprived of banking services.” Moreover, the bank has also decided to impart vocational training to the villagers apart from offering basic banking services. Started operations in 2002, currently HCBL Co-operative Bank has six branches and two extension counters in Uttar Pradesh state.
