ICICI Bank Launches Platinum Credit Card

As stated in the statement issued by ICICI Bank Express and MasterCard, “Card members will get two cards – the credit card and the ICICI Bank Rubyx MasterCard Platinum Chip Credit Card. Cards, which are linked to a single card account with a single statement and a single fee, will give access to wide exciting privileges from American Express and MasterCard.”
The new credit card is targeted at the group of growing affluent segment. According to the bank, card members will be allowed to choose between three reward plans and they will be able to earn bonus points across merchant categories where there expenditure is normally more and they have the additional flexibility to change their reward plan on the basis of their changing requirements.
“The new product offers our card members the convenience of a single account and two credit cards that would help them to earn rewards through both American Express and MasterCard. To sum up, this new product is an affirmation of ICICI Bank’s commitment to offer first-to-market privileges to our wide clientele base,” said Mrs. Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank.
The ICICI Bank Rubyx offers bouquet of benefits to customers, including five complimentary Jet Airways tickets on joining, minimum 15 per cent at over 450 restaurants across India, complimentary access to American Express affiliated Altitude lounges and MasterCard affiliated airport lounges and many more.
