The Bank of India (BOI) will revamp up to 350 of its branches based in metropolitan and big cities pan India in the next 18 months in order to boost retail business. The remodelled branches will be backed with state-of-the-art communication devices which in turn will offer enhanced customer services. The branches will include various facilities such as kiosks, lobby for customers, a separate area for high profile clients and many more other amenities. Nearly 70 per cent of bank’s staff time will be directed towards customers engagement. Moreover, the modernized branches will also act as a platform for promoting various financial products such as mutual fund and insurance policies, along with credit card and deposits products.
