United Bank Of India Signs Remittance Deal With Global Bank Of Nepal
February 9th, 2012 by rupeetalk-newsNo CommentsThe United Bank of India (UBI) has entered into an agreement with Nepal’s Global Bank for starting remittance facility to a large segment of Nepalese population working in India. The UBI has emerged as the third bank in India which is offering Indo-Nepal remittance services. Under the agreement, a person of Nepalese origin will be allowed to remit funds in Indian rupee to a beneficiary in Nepal by going to any of the designated branches of the UBI. The remitter will be given a unique PIN which will be required to communicate to the beneficiary in Nepal. In Nepal, beneficiary can claim funds within seven days in Nepalese Rupee by showing the PIN along with identity proofs at any of the branches of Global Bank or on the 1,741 claim outlets of the International Money Express (IME).
