Vijaya Bank Revises Rate Of Interest On Foreign Currency Non-Resident Deposit Scheme
February 10th, 2012 by rupeetalk-newsNo CommentsVijaya Bank has revised rate of interest on its foreign currency non-resident (B) deposit scheme (FCNR), w.e.f February 1, 2012. The bank has revised FCNR deposits across all maturity buckets from 1-5 years for USA dollar, British pound, euro, Australian dollar and Canadian dollar.
Vijaya Bank has revised USA dollar deposit rate to 2.35 per cent for 1-2 years, to 1.78 per cent for 2-3 years, to 1.87 per centĀ for 3-4 years, to 2.06 per cent for 4-5 years and to 2.3 per cent for 5 years. The British-pound deposit rate has been revised to 3.14 per cent for 1-2 years, to 2.49 per cent for 2-3 years, to 2.51 per cent for 3-4 years, to 2.63 per cent for 4-5 years and to 2.75 per cent for 5 years.
Similarly, for 1-2 years, the euro deposit rate has been revised to 2.98 per cent, to 2.42 per cent for 2-3 years, to 2.51 per cent for 3-4 years, to 2.66 per cent for 4-5 years and to 2.85 per cent for 5 years. The bank has revised the Canadian-dollar deposit rate to 3.12 per cent for 1-2 years, to 2.44 per cent for 2-3 years, to 2.5 per cent for 3-4 years, to 2.61 per cent for 4-5 years and to 2.75 per cent for 5 years. For 1-2 years, the Australian-dollar deposit rate has been revised to 6.13 per cent, to 5.09 per cent for 2-3 years, to 5.13 per centĀ for 3-4 years, to 5.37 per cent for 4-5 years and to 5.5 per cent for 5 years.
